LITTLE
NINJAS
Our youngest students attend a delightful pre-karate
class one or two days per week. This class gives
students a wonderful foundation for improved listening
skills and focus as well as helps to teach them
to follow directions, basic color recognition
and stranger danger safety concepts all while
working on fitness and coordination.
Most of our little ninjas graduate into our Youth
Karate program, continuing their training as they
learn more and become stronger. Little Ninjas
is designed for children ages 3-7.
YOUTH
KARATE
The Taylor Martial Arts karate program is designed
to give children a head start in life by instilling
a positive self image as well as an "I can
do it!" attitude. Students train two times
per week with with a focus on self defense, verbal
skills, and fitness.
TMA
also places a strong emphasis on academic success
(SEE
SCHOOL IS COOL), recognizing academic achievement
on an ongoing basis. Sensei Taylor's "Stranger
Danger & Bully Prevention Program" offers
an in-depth lesson in how to handle both predator
situations as well as bullying in school, with
a key component being how to defuse the situation
in the school without your child raising a hand.
This
program is lauded by teachers, parents and school
administrators alike. Youth Karate program
is open to students ages 7 on up. (Younger
students accepted after initial private evaluation
by a TMA instructor.)
TEEN
& ADULT SELF DEFENSE/KRAV MAGA
Our Teen and Adult program focus on self defense
and physical fitness. Our participants also notice
a side benefit - stress relief. Regular workouts
help our students remain more active, flexible
and offer an excellent outlet at the end of a
long, stressful day.
This
is a self defense class where students actually
like working out. Students meet two times
per week.
WOMEN'S
SAFETY & FITNESS
Self defense and fitness combine in this Women's
Only environment where our students feel safe
while learning valuable defense skills. Taught
by female instructors that bring a unique prospective
to the martial arts experience
In addition we offer warm-up techniques that also
help our students learn how to relax from the
stress of daily life with more ease. Students
meet one time per week.
DEMO
TEAM
TMA's Demo Team is a highly sought after karate
performance team filled with dedicated athletes
who showcase exceptional skills, weapons expertise
and aerial techniques. This team performs at school
functions as well as community events and more.
Students meet one time a week in addition to their
regular classes. Demo Team membership requires
Sensei Taylor's personal approval.
